Xi'an Muslim District
From 2014-2015, I lived in the anciety city of Xi'an, teaching English by day, and exploring the city by night. While I was there, I drew a series of illustrations from my explorations around town. This illustration depicts a shop in the famous Muslim district, a tourist destination. The roads are lined with vendors selling local delicacies, goods, snacks, and alleyways lead to ancient hidden mosques.
